Claude Code Desktop Preview Flaw Allowed Local Credential Exfiltration Past 256KB

A security flaw in Claude Code Desktop allowed malicious HTML files larger than 256KB to bypass origin restrictions and read local SSH or AWS keys. The vulnerability stemmed from differing execution paths based on file size when rendering static HTML. Anthropic released a fix in Claude Desktop version 1.30096.1.

Meta launched its Muse frontier model family, but reserved its highest-performing model, Muse Wonder Full, exclusively for paid Muse Code agent subscribers starting at $50 per month. Developers using the standard Model API only receive Muse Wonder at $4 per million input and $20 per million output tokens, though Claude Code CLI can be pointed directly at Meta's endpoint via environment variables.
