Claude Code and Codex CLI: The Terminal Era Is Over
Managing 30 terminal tabs is pure cognitive overhead when working with coding agents. Boris Cherny argues that the terminal era is over and that the terminal is the wrong interface for coding agents: tabs are ephemeral, while context is persistent. He adds that he does not really need an IDE like Cursor either.
