Mistral Unveils Mistral Large 4 with 1-Trillion Parameters and Open-Weight Roadmap
French AI lab Mistral AI has released Mistral Large 4 (ML4), a large multimodal model with 1 trillion parameters, nicknamed Le Chonk. Trained entirely on Mistral's own compute using only 4,000 Nvidia GPUs, the model is currently accessible only via a public guardrail endpoint, with open weights planned in three weeks after safety testing is complete.
