Background Desktop Automation on macOS
Meta is bringing autonomous desktop interaction to macOS via Muse Spark, its specialized multimodal agent model. Chief AI Officer Alexandr Wang highlighted that Muse will control native desktop software directly, allowing users to queue complex jobs and step away while the agent navigates interfaces and executes tasks.
